<Tutor Feedback>
an interesting topic and a good start, but you’ll have to consider ‘conceptual thinking’. Your project have to include your own opinion.Also primary research is not clearly related.

Jewon_ topic is interesting and your textile drawing works looks good. I think your work is appropriate to our topic ‘unlovely.’
Rin_ I love your research style. your topic is really interesting but how about find museums related to your topic? If you find and add it, it would be much better !

After a 1:1 interview(also peer review) with the tutor about holiday SDS, I got confused about the project. I received feedback that primary research and my opinion in the project was not clear. I think I was working on this project in the same thematic direction as the same flow of term2 project, but after the tutorial, I was able to rethink what ‘Conceptual thinking’ is. In addition, I had time to think more deeply about my project, such as the reason of my choice as the topic and the flow of the project.
I re-organized the reason why I thought of nuclear and radioactivity as the key word of ‘UNLOVELY’, and I went back to the beginning of the project then headed to expand my thoughts from the irony of “human evolution” and “weapon development.”
Since early humans, we have evolved to conquer enemies to protect ourselves under the theory of natural selection. Humans, who were definitely weaker than other animals, started with stone axes, developed weapons, and even made nuclear bombs, which are now the most complete means of conquest. However, nuclear bombs have now developed to the point where they can destroy humanity and are mostly prohibited from using them.
I was intrigued that the means made to protect myself could lead to self-destruction.
So I focused on nuclear and the results, and decided to visit the ‘Imperial War Museum’ as a primary research to start with research on war, which is the easiest to see this proess.

I went to ‘Imperial War Museum.’ After visiting, I could fully understand about the story of two World War, and at the same time, I could see the development of weapons. Not only this, in the museum, they also discussed and displayed the results (shadow) of Nuclear Bomb. It was really interesting to me and I could become confident about my subject and how to develop it. Now I completely understand why Giles gave me a feedback that my previous primary research is wrong and it should be enhanced by secondary research.
